CAROLINA CROSSROADS
Augusta Iron & Steel Works supplied over 2,000 tons of structural steel for the Carolina Crossroads project, one of the largest infrastructure improvements in South Carolina’s history. The project focused on improving safety and reducing congestion throughout the heavily traveled I-20/I-26 corridor and included multiple bridge structures requiring precise coordination and fabrication support.

CHARLESTON, SC
PORT ACCESS ROAD
AISW provided over 4,800 tons of structural steel for the Port Access Road project in Charleston, South Carolina. This major infrastructure development created a new direct connection between I-26 and the Port of Charleston, one of the fastest-growing ports in the country. The project involved six different bridge structures designed to improve traffic flow, freight mobility, and port accessibility.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC
WINSTON-SALEM NORTHERN BELTWAY – EASTERN SECTION
Augusta Iron & Steel Works fabricated 3,900 tons of structural steel for the Eastern Section of the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project. This new freeway system was developed to reduce congestion and improve roadway safety around northern Winston-Salem and required fabrication for multiple bridge structures throughout the corridor.
